The Class 150 fittings we stock come in one material only: stainless SS316, ASTM A351 CF8M — the molybdenum in it is what gives the chloride resistance, which is why it is the one that goes onto seawater and treated-water lines. Camlocks come in three bodies, and that choice sets the temperature limit:
| Camlock body | Max PSI | At 3″ | Temperature limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| SS316 | 250 | 200 | 500 °F — no derating |
| Aluminium ZLD104 | 250 | 125 | 250 °F — derates from 250 °F |
| Brass HPB57-3 | 250 | 125 | 450 °F — derates from 300 °F |
| Size | Stainless SS316 | Brass / aluminium |
|---|---|---|
| 1/2″ | 150 PSI | 150 PSI |
| 3/4″ – 2″ | 250 PSI | 250 PSI |
| 2½″ | 225 PSI | 150 PSI |
| 3″ | 200 PSI | 125 PSI |
| 4″ | 100 PSI | 100 PSI |
The 250 PSI figure holds in the middle of the range only. At 4″ every material drops to 100 PSI — so tell us the working pressure of your line, not just the size. The per-type detail is on the camlock page.
Alongside our high-pressure range, low-pressure fittings handle water, air and utility lines: Class 150 threaded fittings in stainless SS316 (ASTM A351 CF8M), 1/8″–4″, for permanent pipework — and camlocks to EN 14420-7, 1/2″–4″ in SS316, aluminium or brass, for connecting and disconnecting quickly without tools — and AF Hydro push-in fittings for nylon and PU tube 4–12 mm, up to 1.0 MPa, with no thread and no tool.
All three are held in our regional warehouses in Singapore and Malaysia and leave the warehouse within 24 hours of a PO. When you ask for a quote, give us the size, the shape or type, the material and the working pressure of the line — those four things are what set price and availability.
A threaded fitting for low-pressure pipework, rated Class 150 — elbows, tees, sockets, unions and so on — used on water, air and utility lines.
For connecting and disconnecting quickly — hoses and tanks, without tools — fluid transfer, loading and unloading, and temporary lines. Give us the size and the type (A–F) when you order.
The Class 150 fittings we stock are stainless SS316 — ASTM A351 CF8M only. Camlocks come in three bodies: SS316, aluminium ZLD104 and brass HPB57-3, with NBR, EPDM, Viton or PTFE seals.
Camlocks are rated up to 250 PSI, but that figure holds across 3/4″–2″. At 1/2″ it drops to 150 PSI, at 3″ to 200 PSI (SS316) or 125 PSI (brass/aluminium), and at 4″ every material drops to 100 PSI. Tell us the working pressure of your line, not just the size.
Both are tapered, but the flank angles differ: NPT 60°, BSPT 55°. The two cannot be mixed in one joint. Tell us the thread standard your line runs on; both seal with PTFE tape on the male thread.
The body and the seal decide it. Body: SS316 to 500 °F with no derating, brass to 450 °F (derates from 300 °F), aluminium to 250 °F (derates from 250 °F). Seals: NBR −50…+120 °C, EPDM −40…+145 °C (not for oil), Viton −20…+200 °C, PTFE −25…+100 °C.
For nylon flexible or PU tube, 4–12 mm OD, on compressed air, pneumatic, machine service and instrument lines — working pressure up to 1.0 MPa. The tube pushes into the port with no thread and no tool, and releases when you press the collar. Not for threaded pipe or hose.
